Abhinav Gupta is a Professor of Management and Michael G. Foster Endowed Fellow at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business . His research focuses on business and politics , corporate governance , corporate social responsibility , social activism , and strategic leadership . He explores inter-organizational diffusion of governance practices and the role of CEO personality in strategic decisions. His recent publications analyze topics like CEO narcissism and knowledge transfer , shareholder activism and CEO turnover , and peer influence on CSR adoption .
