Valerie Simon is a full professor and Clinical Area Chair in the Department of Psychology at Wayne State University , with a joint appointment at the Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute for Child & Family Development . She specializes in developmental psychopathology, interpersonal violence exposure, and adolescent romantic/sexual development.
