Dr. Adam DeVoria is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at The Citadel, part of the School of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University at Buffalo, with research focused on fluid dynamics and bio-inspired propulsion systems. His work spans inviscid flow modeling, vortex dynamics, and multi-phase interface physics. Prior to his faculty role, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Florida on micro aerial vehicle aerodynamics and microfluidics. Research Interests: Aero/hydrodynamics Inviscid flow modeling and vortex dynamics Multiphase interface physics Bio-inspired propulsion systems Non-conservative fluid systems Publications reflect advanced work in Hamiltonian mechanics extensions, shock front modeling, and vortex sheet dynamics. He is affiliated with the American Physical Society Division of Fluid Dynamics (ASP DFD) and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
