Fabio Cavaliere is an Associate Professor at the University of Genoa, affiliated with the Department of Physics (DIFI) within the School of Basic and Applied Sciences. His research focuses on theoretical physics of matter, mathematical methods, and their applications, particularly in quantum systems, topological insulators, and nano-electromechanical systems. He serves on the Department Council and teaches courses including Modern Physics Elements, General Physics 1, and Introduction to Quantum Technologies. His research interests span quantum batteries, Wigner molecules, and topological phases in condensed matter systems. Recent work explores dynamical blockade phenomena in quantum reservoirs, synchronization effects in thermodynamic systems, and phase diagrams of frustrated quantum spin chains. Cavaliere employs advanced numerical techniques for entangled many-body systems and investigates coherence properties in nanoelectromechanical systems. He has contributed to foundational studies on spin-charge separation, quantum dot symmetries, and negative differential conductance in nanoscale systems. His publications reflect a trajectory from early theoretical work on quantum dot characterization (2002) to cutting-edge research in quantum thermodynamics and topological materials.
