Murat Han Er is an Associate Professor at the Photography Department of Atatürk University's Faculty of Fine Arts. He holds a PhD from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and has held academic positions since 2005. His research focuses on contemporary photography techniques, interdisciplinary art forms, and pedagogical innovations in art education. He has participated in numerous international exhibitions and received multiple awards for his artistic work. Educations: Bachelor's: Graphic Design, Atatürk University Master's: Photography, Atatürk University PhD: Photography, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University His research interests explore intersections between photography and poetry, alternative printing methods (e.g., anthotype, gum bichromate), and game-based learning strategies in art education. He has advised 7 theses and contributed to 1 academic project. Notable publications include studies on contemporary photographic practices, collaborative learning methodologies, and experimental techniques in analog photography. His work often critiques conventional photographic aesthetics while advocating for sustainability in artistic processes. He currently serves in the Photography Department at Atatürk University and maintains an active artistic practice with exhibitions focusing on cultural heritage and environmental themes.
