Polychronis Spanoudakis is a Researcher at the School of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete (TUC). He specializes in mechanical and aeronautical engineering, with a focus on advanced vehicle systems, energy management, and manufacturing optimization. His work includes developing zero-emission vehicles, unmanned systems, and innovative transmission technologies. Education: Diploma in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (University of Patras, 2001) M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Production Engineering and Management (TUC, 2003 and 2013) Research Interests: Spanoudakis’s research integrates structural analysis, vehicle design, and energy efficiency. He leads projects like TUC Eco Racing (zero-emission prototypes) and Daedalus (electric motorcycles), emphasizing sustainability and innovation. His work spans transmission systems, crash analysis, and unmanned vehicle development.
