Zvonimir Jelinić is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Law and Family Law Sciences, Faculty of Law, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Civil Procedure Law from the University of Zagreb Law School (2010) and an M.A. in European Law (2008). His research focuses on civil procedure, access to justice, legal clinics, and comparative law.
Education: LL.B. from Osijek Law School (2002), M.A. in European Law (2008), Ph.D. in Civil Law (2010). Professional memberships include Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE) and European Network for Clinical Legal Education (ENCLE).
Research interests include civil procedure reforms, legal aid systems, arbitration ethics, and the impact of digital technologies on justice systems. He leads the Osijek PRO BONO legal clinic, providing free legal assistance since 2015.
Key awards include DAAD research scholarships (2019), Erasmus+ mobility grants (2017–2018), and a U.S. State Department fellowship (2009). His work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to legal education and systemic justice challenges.
Teaching includes courses on civil procedure, legal ethics, and alternative dispute resolution. He advises on legal clinic operations and contributes to national legal reform initiatives.
