Zuzana Rafajová

Zuzana Rafajová is a dance historian, theorist, and critic holding both Master of Arts (MgA.) and Ph.D. degrees in Dance Science from Prague Academy of Performing Arts (HAMU). She maintains dual academic roles as a teacher at Duncan Centre Conservatory and Lecturer at the Department of Dance within HAMU's Faculty of Music and Dance.

Her research focuses on:

• Historical analysis of dance and theater
• Theory and criticism of performing arts
• Interdisciplinary connections in dance studies

Beyond academia, she contributes extensively to cultural media as a columnist for Taneční aktuality, Opera Plus, and other outlets, and develops programming for major Czech theaters and broadcasters.
