Zuzana Joniaková

Zuzana Joniaková serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Theatre Management within the Faculty of Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU). She has been affiliated with the department since 2008 as an external teacher and transitioned to an internal position in 2018.

Her academic credentials include a 1996 graduation from the Faculty of Business Management at the University of Economics in Bratislava and a 2014 degree from the Faculty of Education at Comenius University. She earned her PhD in Economics and Business Management in 2008 and received her Associate Professor title in Economics and Management in 2020.

Her research focuses on human resource dynamics in creative industries, with specialized expertise in work motivation systems, compensation structures for artistic personnel, and theatrical corporate culture development. She integrates business management principles with performing arts contexts through empirical studies on organizational behavior.

She actively contributes to international research networks as a co-investigator in VEGA, KEGA, and APVV-funded projects and participates in the global CRANET consortium for human resource management studies. Her practical experience as a certified mediator and lecturer informs both her pedagogical approach and research methodology.
