Zsolt Bor

Zsolt Bor is a Professor at the Institute of Physics, University of Szeged, and has held academic positions since 1988. He has been a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 1990 and is affiliated with several professional societies, including the European Physical Society and Hungarian Physical Society.

• PhD in Physics (1975, JATE University)

His research focuses on laser physics and optical technologies, particularly ultrafast laser spectroscopy, medical applications of lasers, nondiffracting laser beams, and optical lithography. Prior to his current role, he was the Head of the Department of Optics and Quantum Electronics at JATE University and led the Research Group on Laser Physics for the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
