Zoë Simms is a Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Theology and Religion, University of Birmingham. She holds a BA (Hons) in Theology, an MA in History of Christianity from King’s College London, a PGCE in Religious Education from the Institute of Education London, and an MSc in Learning and Teaching from Oxford University.

Her research focuses on the impact of Quaker values in education on adult character development and ethical decision-making. She is supervised by Professor Emeritus Anne Watson.
Zoë currently serves as Head of Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics at Sibford School in Oxfordshire. She has extensive experience teaching Secondary Religious Education since 1999 and works as an examiner for OCR in A Level Christian Theology and GCSE Christianity and Islam.
