Zorka Karanxha

Dr. Zorka Karanxha is a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of South Florida, College of Education. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Lehigh University and serves as the UCEA Plenum Representative and former co-editor of the Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership.

• Grants: Principal Investigator for the $1.235 million Leadership for Literacy Intervention (LLI) Scholarship Project (2020–2024), with over $5.8 million in cumulative grant funding.
• Research Focus: Educational leadership preparation, special education law, charter schools, and policy analysis.
