Zohaib Iqbal, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he leads the Vision RT surface-guided radiation therapy system. He is affiliated with the Division of Medical Physics & Engineering and has previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

- Ph.D. in Biomedical Physics from University of California, Los Angeles
- Residency in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics at UT Southwestern
Dr. Iqbal’s research bridges radiation oncology and medical imaging, with a focus on:
- Deep learning applications for dose distribution prediction and spectroscopic imaging acceleration
- Adaptive radiation therapy for prostate, breast, and cervical cancers
- Validation of MRI-guided and CBCT-based treatment planning
