Zoe Yan is an Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago's Department of Physics and James Franck Institute, specializing in experimental quantum many-body physics. Her research uses ultracold atoms and molecules to study custom quantum Hamiltonians, combining advanced trapping and imaging technologies.
Prior to joining UChicago in 2023, she was a Dicke Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University. Research focuses on quantum simulation, quantum correlations, and novel states of matter in ultracold systems.
