Zoe Rodgers is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Law and Criminology at Sheffield Hallam University, affiliated with the Sheffield Institute of Law and Justice and the College of Social Sciences and Arts. She teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, focusing on policing, anti-social behavior, and social research methods. Her research examines civil preventive orders, victims' experiences of community protection notices, and barriers to careers in probation. Rodgers has secured significant funding, including the FindAPhD Annual Scholarship, and contributed to projects like evaluating the Harm Reduction Enforcement Pathway. She is a reviewer for Policing: A Journal of Policy and Practice and engages with policy through submissions to parliamentary committees.
Rodgers holds a BA in Criminology (2016–2019) and an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice Practice (2019–2020) from Sheffield Hallam University. Her doctoral research, funded by FindAPhD, explores policing practices related to civil preventive orders. She has published widely on topics like procedural justice in policing and preventive regulation, with recent works in Policing and International Review of Victimology.
Her awards include the Gold Hallam Award (2019) and the 2021 FindAPhD Scholarship. Rodgers advises doctoral students and leads initiatives on learning enhancement and student experience. She collaborates with organizations such as the N8PRP New Researchers in Policing Network and the Socio-Legal Studies Association.
