Professor Zoe Robinson is Director of Education for Sustainability at Keele University's School of Life Sciences, with 20+ years of experience in sustainability transformations. She holds a BSc in Geography/Geology and PhD in Glacial Groundwater Geochemistry from Keele. She previously directed the Institute for Sustainable Futures and leads regional climate commissions.
Her research focuses on community-centric decarbonisation approaches, green skills development, and sustainability pedagogy. Current projects include Net Zero Neighbourhoods design, hydrogen energy perception studies, and place-based skills bootcamps awarded Ofsted Outstanding in 2023.
Educational leadership includes developing transnational sustainability programs and receiving:
- National Teaching Fellowship (2012)
- Principal Fellow of HEA (2015)
- THE Innovative Teacher shortlist (2019)
She co-chairs the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges and leads the West Midlands Climate Ambassadors Hub.
