Angela Morris is a Lecturer in Physical Geography at the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science, University of South Wales. She actively contributes to the Earth, Ecology and Environment Research and Innovation Group.
- Education: PhD in Marine Micropalynology (focus: ice-ocean-climate interactions in the NE Atlantic); BSc (Hons) in Geography.
Her research focuses on decarbonisation strategies, GHG emission accounting for food banks, marine micropalynology for climate reconstruction, and greening university campuses (collaboration with Cardiff University School of Architecture). Her 2016 publication examines Quaternary oceanographic changes in the North Atlantic using dinoflagellate cyst analysis, linking to environmental indicators and meridional circulation trends.
Teaching: She leads modules on climate change, biodiversity, decarbonisation, and net-zero built environments, including ES2S201 Climate Change, NG4S728 Achieving Net Zero, and supervises dissertations (NG3D700, NG4T702).
