Zoe Jonassen is an Assistant Professor of Assessing Innovation in Healthcare at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), affiliated with the MED-HSG initiative. Her research focuses on emotions, team dynamics, and technology integration in healthcare contexts. She holds a PhD in Innovation and Strategy from ETH Zurich (2020), Master's in Organizational and Social Psychology from the London School of Economics (LSE), and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Konstanz.
Her work explores AI applications in healthcare, remote patient monitoring, and the human aspects of technology adoption. Notable projects include algorithmic sepsis prediction systems, leveraging remote monitoring for diverse patient populations, and using ChatGPT to reduce administrative burdens in healthcare. She collaborates with institutions such as NYU Stern School of Business, ETH Zurich, LMU Munich, and MIT Sloan School of Management.
