Zoë Holmes

Zoë Holmes is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with both the Quantum Information and Computing Laboratory (QIC) and the Physics Section (SB-SPH) within the School of Basic Sciences. Her office is located at PH H2 492, Station 3, 1015 Lausanne, Switzerland.

Her primary research interests lie in the domain of quantum science, particularly:

• Quantum Information Theory
• Quantum Computing
• Quantum Physics
• Theoretical Physics
• Information-Theoretic Approaches to Quantum Systems

She teaches core courses such as Quantum Physics II and Quantum Information Theory, emphasizing conceptual understanding and advanced methods in quantum theory from an information perspective.

Zoë Holmes advises a group of doctoral students in physics, currently including Aghaei Saem Reyhaneh, Lerch Sacha, Puig I Valls Ricard, Rudolph Manuel Sebastian, Sahebi Mehrad, Sanz Drudis Marc, and Xiong Weijie.
