Zlatko Bačić is a Professor of Chemistry at New York University's College of Arts & Science. His research focuses on theoretical and computational chemistry, particularly quantum treatments of molecular dynamics and spectroscopy in confined systems.
Education:
- B.S. in Chemistry, University of Zagreb
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, University of Utah
- Postdoctoral Fellowships at Max-Planck-Institut, Hebrew University, University of Chicago, and Los Alamos National Laboratory

- Quantum dynamics of molecules in nanoporous materials and on solid surfaces
- Vibrational spectroscopy of fluxional biological systems

- Translation-rotation states in fullerene and clathrate hydrate confinement
