Ziping Ye, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Stanford Prevention Policy Modeling Lab, Stanford University. Her research focuses on developing decision-making models for disease prevention programs, with expertise in HIV, hepatitis C (HCV), and substance use. She also explores cost-effectiveness thresholds, health outcomes, and health burden surveys. Previously, she served as a lecturer at Hainan University's School of Public Administration. Dr. Ye earned her PhD in Pharmacy Administration with a focus on Pharmacoeconomics from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University.
Education:
- PhD in Pharmacy Administration (Concentration: Pharmacoeconomics), Shenyang Pharmaceutical University
- Previous Lecturer Position: School of Public Administration, Hainan University
Research Interests: Dr. Ye’s work bridges health economics and policy, emphasizing simulation models for infectious diseases and substance use. Her methodologies include cost-effectiveness analysis, health technology assessment (HTA), and population-level surveys to inform public health strategies. She has conducted cross-cultural studies on health utility measures (e.g., EQ-5D-5L) and contributed to China’s healthcare policy analyses, such as the National Essential Medicines List and rare disease frameworks.
Articles Overview: Her publications span 2018–2024, focusing on health economics valuation, policy impact assessments, and comparative effectiveness research. Key themes include QALY valuation methods, rare disease policy evolution, and HTA in Chinese hospitals.
Labs/Teams: Active in the Stanford Prevention Policy Modeling Lab, which develops computational tools for public health intervention modeling.
