Zhu Yandong serves as an Associate Professor and postgraduate supervisor at the Department of Urban Planning, School of Architecture, Southeast University. He concurrently directs Professor Zhu Yandong's Studio within the university's Urban Planning & Design Institute and holds a part-time directorship at Hefei Traffic Research Center.
His educational background includes a Master's degree in Transportation Planning and Management from Tongji University (2002) and a PhD in Transportation Engineering from Southeast University (2008, earned while employed full-time).
Professor Zhu's research centers on transportation-urban integration, with emphasis on comprehensive traffic systems, land use-transportation synergies, and multimodal hub design. His work bridges theoretical planning frameworks with practical urban regeneration projects, particularly in historical site revitalization and rural-urban connectivity.
