Zhiwei Hu

Dr. Zhiwei Hu is an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton, specializing in aerodynamic noise and fluid dynamics with a focus on high-speed rail systems. His research integrates computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experimental methods to address challenges in railway aerodynamics, including noise generation from train components like bogies and pantographs. He has contributed to projects funded by the Royal Society, EPSRC, and the European Union.
