Zhirong Wang is a Senior Lecturer in Chinese and Director of the Chinese Language Program at Columbia University’s Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures. She also serves as the EALAC Language Lecturer Coordinator.
- PhD in Chinese Language from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
- BA in Chinese Language and Literature from Peking University
Her research focuses on Chinese language pedagogy, historical linguistics, and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. She has developed specialized curricula to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps for advanced learners.
