Zhilin Luo is a Dickson Instructor (equivalent to Lecturer) in Mathematics at the University of Chicago's Physical Sciences Division, transitioning to Assistant Professor at Purdue University. He completed his PhD at University of Minnesota under Professor Dihua Jiang, specializing in representation theory and number theory.
His research explores automorphic forms, L-functions, trace formula applications, and geometric aspects of Hitchin fibrations. Current work connects arithmetic geometry with representation-theoretic structures.
As co-organizer of the UChicago Representation Theory Seminar, he coordinates academic discourse on contemporary developments in algebraic structures.
