Zhidong Zhang is a Part-time Lecturer at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Tufts University. Their teaching focuses on Photography within the Degree Program. They identify using 'he' and 'they' pronouns.
Biography: A Brooklyn-based visual artist, Zhang's practice spans photography, assemblage, and installation. Their work explores identity construction through overlooked or politicized bodies, framing image-making as history-making. Publications include The Boston Globe, i-D Magazine, and The New Yorker.

Residencies include Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture (2022), MASS MoCA (2021), and TILT Institute for the Contemporary Image (2024). Their work interrogates intersections of embodiment, memory, and cultural narratives.
