Zhenghong Ding is a Lecturer in Finance at the School of Management, Swansea University, a position he has held since January 2024. He is affiliated with the Accounting and Finance department within the School of Management.

- MSc in Financial Risk Management (top student) from Henley Business School
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, China
Research Interests
Dr. Ding's research spans multiple areas within finance, with particular emphasis on real-world financial challenges. His work focuses on corporate finance, climate finance, and behavioral finance, with specific attention to financing issues faced by Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), the physical risks of climate change on corporate sectors, and the impact of mindfulness on financial decision-making. He also explores survival risk and the emerging field of wellbeing finance, contributing to these cutting-edge areas of financial research.
Teaching
Dr. Ding teaches several modules including MN-1002 (Maths for Accounting and Finance), MN-M508 (Asset Management), and MN-M513 (Risk Management in Banking), where he incorporates practical tools like DATASTREAM to provide students with hands-on experience in financial analysis.
