معرفی
Zhe Ji is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Biology at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Calleva Research Centre at Magdalen College. His research focuses on plant hormone signaling pathways, particularly gibberellin and auxin signaling, and their roles in nutrient-use efficiency and crop improvement. Current projects investigate chlorinated auxin production in pea plants ( Pisum sativum ) to enhance legume crop cultivation. Dr. Ji collaborates with Prof. Lars Østergaard in the Østergaard Group.
Research Interests:
- Plant hormone signaling (auxin, gibberellin)
- Nitrogen use efficiency in rice subspecies
- Legume crop development
- Epigenetic regulation in plant development
Publications Trends: His work spans plant genetics, proteomics, and stress biology, with a focus on Arabidopsis thaliana and Nicotiana benthamiana models. Recent studies address protein processing dynamics, mycorrhizal symbiosis, and transcriptional regulation under abiotic stresses.
No scientific awards explicitly listed. Advising and grants: No formal advisees listed, but contributes to collaborative research projects at the Calleva Research Centre. Lab affiliations include the Østergaard Group and Magdalen College facilities.
