Zhao-Shou WANG is an Assistant Professor at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xiamen University, where he has worked since 2005. He earned his Ph.D. at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in 2003 and conducted postdoctoral research at Nanjing Agricultural University (2003-2005). He was a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2009-2010).

Publications highlight interdisciplinary applications of synthetic biology in biotechnology, biochemical engineering, and environmental science, with recurring themes in gene network control, aptasensor development, and industrial microbial systems.
