Zhang Wang

Zhang Wang is an Associate Professor at the School of New Materials and New Energy, Shenzhen University of Technology. He holds a PhD in Science from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has extensive industry experience in LED technology and semiconductor materials.

• Education: PhD in Science (2007), Master in Physics (2003), Bachelor in Physics (1999).
• Work Experience: Vice Dean for University-Enterprise Cooperation, R&D Director at Huizhou Huarui Lighting, and Factory Manager at BYD Co., Ltd.

His research focuses on LED and its applications, including UVLED packaging for sterilization and perovskite light-emitting devices. His work spans gallium nitride epitaxial growth, chip fabrication, and LED packaging for automotive and TV backlight modules.

His publications analyze charge ordering, phase separation, and pressure-induced property changes in MnO-based compounds, reflecting expertise in high-pressure physics and semiconductor materials. His patents and projects highlight advancements in LED structures and quantum dot technology.
