Zhang Lixin

Zhang Lixin is a Full Professor and Deputy Dean of the School of Biotechnology at East China University of Science and Technology, where he also directs the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering. His career includes roles as Deputy Director of CAS Key Laboratory of Pathogenic Microbiology & Immunology, Director of the Drug Discovery Center for Tuberculosis, and academic leadership at institutions like the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of Newcastle (UK). He has founded biotech ventures, including SynerZ Pharmaceuticals, and holds significant grants and awards in biotechnology and drug discovery.
