Zenong Yin

Zenong Yin is the Loretta J. Lowak Clarke Distinguished Professor in Health and Kinesiology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. His research develops school- and community-based interventions for obesity and type 2 diabetes prevention in low-income minority populations.

He received his BEd from Beijing Sports University, MA from University of Southern California in Physical Education Administration, and PhD from USC in Sport Psychology. Previously, he was Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Georgia (2001-2005).

With over 70 peer-reviewed publications and 200 professional presentations, Dr. Yin's work translates research into practical community health solutions. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in health and kinesiology at UTSA.
