Dr. Zekun Guo is a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering and Postgraduate Research Director at the University of Hull's Data Science AI and Modelling Centre (DAIM). He holds a PhD from Brunel University London (2023), an MRes from the University of Edinburgh, and a BEng from Shandong University. His research focuses on Large Language Model (LLM) multi-agent systems, transportation electrification, and AI-driven control for renewable energy. He leads the LLM Agent Research Team and develops AI applications in engineering, healthcare, and business.
Education: BEng (Energy and Environmental System Engineering, Shandong University, 2018), MRes (Energy Systems, University of Edinburgh, 2019), PhD (Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Brunel University London, 2023).

Recent work emphasizes eco-driving optimization, carbon emission models, and airport microgrid planning. He leads the MSc AI for Engineering programme and its core module on AI-driven optimization. Current grants include Project IGNITE (£15,565) and HI-ACT (£8,668), focusing on hydrogen infrastructure and airport decarbonization. He chairs the Supergen ORE ECR Committee and is an IEEE member.
