Zeke Williams is a Lecturer I at the Harry W. Bass Jr. School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology at the University of Texas at Dallas. His work bridges nature and technology through large-scale, CNC-carved wood reliefs and oil paintings, often featuring avian themes. Born in 1979, he holds a BA in Art and Performance from U.T. Dallas (2001) and an MFA in Printmaking from Texas Christian University (2021).
Notable exhibitions include Bird Rights (2024, Galveston Arts Center), Out of Bounds (2022, Eugene Binder Gallery), and Rainbow (2016, Eugene Binder Gallery). He has completed residencies at the Joong Boo Artist Residency (Chicago) and Sydney Art Space (Australia). His work has been covered in Glasstire, D Magazine, and Vogue.
Williams’ practice emphasizes playful yet technically rigorous explorations of form, pattern, and the intersection of natural and digital processes. He is represented by Erin Cluley Gallery in Dallas and has pieces in collections including Toyota’s national headquarters and UT Southwestern Medical Center.
