Zehra Zaidi

Zehra Zaidi is a Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), within the College of Engineering and Information Technology. She earned her Bachelor's in Information Systems Management and Computer Science from UMBC (2002) and a Master's in Information Security from UMUC. With over a decade of teaching experience at UMBC, she instructs courses such as Systems Analysis and Design, Markup Scripting Languages, and Computer Software and Hardware Concepts.

Zaidi has extensive industry experience in IT product development using Agile methodologies across defense, healthcare, and education sectors. She has worked at organizations like General Electric, Lockheed Martin, Johns Hopkins University, and others. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes connecting classroom concepts to real-world applications, leveraging her diverse professional background.
