Zdravko Pandur is an Associate Professor at the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, specializing in Wood Technology. He holds a PhD and has been affiliated with the institution since 2007. His research focuses on forestry machinery, energy efficiency, and ergonomic improvements in forest operations.
Professional Experience: Academic roles since 2007 include Assistant Professor (2018–present), Senior Assistant-Postdoctorate (2013–2018), and Junior Researcher (2009–2013). He has extensive involvement in forest equipment analysis, including chainsaw vibration studies, skidder fuel consumption, and hybrid drive development.
Research Interests: Optimizing forestry tools for environmental and ergonomic sustainability, analyzing energy efficiency in forest operations, and mitigating worker exposure risks. Recent work emphasizes battery-powered tools, hybrid machinery, and global forestry logistics challenges.
Publications: Over 50 peer-reviewed articles since 2013, covering topics like vibration exposure reduction, fuel optimization, and workforce sustainability strategies. His work spans mechanical engineering, environmental science, and occupational safety domains.
