Dr. Zarak Khan is a Senior Lecturer in Engineering Design at the University of Greenwich, affiliated with the School of Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Science. With over a decade of teaching experience, he holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from HITEC University (Taxila), an MS, and a PhD in Design and Manufacturing from NUST Islamabad. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at HITEC University from 2018, supervising students across BSc, MSc, and PhD programs in mechanical engineering.
His research focuses on advanced manufacturing technologies, including Numerical Modeling and Simulation, Material Characterization, Optimization of Manufacturing Processes, and Circular Design. He has secured research funding from RAC and IGNITE Pakistan. At the University of Greenwich, he leads the Product Design Engineering program and teaches modules like Computer-Aided Design and Group Design & Project Management.
Dr. Khan’s work bridges academic research and practical applications in design and manufacturing, emphasizing innovation in high-speed processes and sustainable practices.
