Dr. Zara Anwarzai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Simon Fraser University (SFU). She holds a PhD in Philosophy and Cognitive Science from Indiana University (2024) and a BA from Bard College at Simon's Rock. Her research focuses on the social dimensions of skill, expertise, and collective agency, with applications to workplace dynamics and union organizing. She actively bridges theoretical philosophy, cognitive science, and empirical studies of labor practices.
