Dr Zanib Bi Mohammed is a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health at York St John University, serving as the Race Equality Institutional Lead and School of Science, Technology and Health Equality and Diversity Lead. She previously held academic roles at the University of Leeds and University of York. Her clinical and academic career spans over 25 years in the NHS, including roles in acute mental health, substance misuse teams, and child and adolescent mental health services. She has conducted prison-based research on self-harm risk assessment and opioid misuse, culminating in a doctoral study.
