Zala Volcic is an Associate Professor in the School of Media, Film, and Journalism at Monash University, where she also serves as a Research Director. She is based in the Department of Film, Screen & Culture and is actively engaged in research and teaching. Her research centers on media, culture, and society, with a focus on digital media, nationalism, migration, and populism.
