Zaki Haidar is a Senior Lecturer in Arabic within the Middle Eastern Languages department at Carleton College, where he has taught since 2013. He specializes in modern Arabic literature, Arab intellectual history, and the intersection of politics, culture, and narrative studies in the Arab world.
