Zakaria Saadi is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Physics at Lancaster University, specializing in superconducting qubits with moveable junctions. He is affiliated with the Low Temperature Physics, Molecular Scale Electronics, and Quantum Nanotechnology research groups.
- B.Sc. in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (2014) from the University of Surrey
- Ph.D. in Flexible Thermoelectric Generators based on Carbon Nanotubes (2019) from the University of Surrey
His research focuses on thermal and mechanical energy harvesting, organic materials, superconductors, and wearable electronics. Prior roles include a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Exeter, where he developed graphene-based wearable sensors and triboelectric nanogenerators for healthcare monitoring.
