Zaida Rahaman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at Brock University. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of Ottawa, specializing in community health and Indigenous governance in healthcare. Her research focuses on Indigenous youth mental wellness, community engagement, and decolonizing nursing education. Dr. Rahaman has extensive clinical experience in paediatrics, children’s mental health, and senior administration, complemented by roles in independent health consulting and community-based research.
Her teaching spans undergraduate and graduate levels, covering courses such as Nursing Pathophysiology, Nursing Research, and Leadership and Management.
