Zafra Cooper is an Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University's Department of Psychiatry and director of the Eating Disorders in Veterans study funded by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP). Previously, she held a Professor of Clinical Psychology position at Oxford University, leading the internationally recognized Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford (CREDO), supported by the Wellcome Trust. Her research focuses on transdiagnostic treatments for eating disorders, obesity, and improving access to evidence-based therapies, particularly for underserved populations like veterans and those in low-resource settings.
