Zachos George is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biology, University of Crete. Holding a PhD in Biochemistry (1997, University of Crete), he specializes in cell cycle checkpoints, mitotic regulation, and genomic stability with applications in cancer biology. He teaches courses like Cell Growth, Proliferation and Cancer (BIOL-412) and contributes to curriculum development in molecular and cellular biology.
