Zachary Ward is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Baylor University. Prior to joining Baylor, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Research School of Economics, Australian National University. His research focuses on economic history and labor economics, particularly intergenerational mobility and immigration.
- Education: PhD in Economics (2014) from the University of Colorado Boulder; BA in Economics and BA in Mathematics (2008) from Wheaton College.
Recent publications examine multigenerational mobility, violence-induced migration, and historical inequality. He is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic History in Canberra, Australia.
