Zachary Hampton is a Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) since 2018. Previously, he served as an Instructor of English Composition at Fort Hays State University (2010–2018) and a Graduate Assistant at Middle Tennessee State University (2008–2010). He holds an M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction/education leadership from Middle Tennessee State University and a B.A. in writing and linguistics from Georgia Southern University.

His research interests focus on second language acquisition, ESL pedagogy, and curriculum design.
