Zachary F. Peskowitz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Emory University. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Economics from Stanford Graduate School of Business (2012). Prior to Emory, he served as an Assistant Professor at Ohio State University. His research focuses on American politics, particularly the interplay between elections and policy outcomes, with emphasis on electoral systems, legislative behavior, and education governance. His work explores how electoral reforms influence polarization, the effects of minority representation on school district policies, and the dynamics of political advertising in digital vs. traditional media. Key themes include voter behavior, policy implementation, and institutional privatization.
