Zach Perzan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geoscience at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). His research focuses on environmental geochemistry and hydrology, employing numerical models, geophysical surveys, and machine learning techniques to study nutrient and contaminant cycling in Earth's critical zone. He leads the Environmental Geochemistry Group, which investigates processes such as managed aquifer recharge and floodplain redox cycling.
