Yvonne de Kort

Yvonne de Kort is a Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences, leading the Human-Technology Interaction group. As Vice Dean, she bridges academic leadership with research innovation.

Her research explores how lighting conditions affect human functioning (alertness, stress, sleep, health), integrating psychology, chronobiology, and neuroscience. Her team uses virtual reality, psychophysiological monitoring, and data science to develop intelligent lighting solutions, emphasizing real-world applications through living labs and field experiments.
